Milano Film Festival and Nastro Azzurro launched the second edition of the “Nastro Azzurro Video Talent Award", the competition for those who explore the new languages of video production. The prize consists of tutorship by Studio Azzurro and has two categories, both with a final prize of €3000:
1. NASTRO AZZURRO VIDEO TALENT AWARD - BEST INNOVATION ON TOOLS
Projects aimed at simplifying and improving the quality of the traditional sector; technologies or tools to make production more accessible, innovative techniques for the distribution of contents, apps to make post-production easier, original use of technological tools. We are looking for crazy and brilliant ideas: amaze us, leave us speechless: that’s all we’re waiting for.
2. NASTRO AZZURRO VIDEO TALENT AWARD - BEST INNOVATION ON LANGUAGES
Artistic projects that experiment new formats and new languages, or which foster combination with other artistic/expressive forms, online and offline multimedia projects. Say what we have no words for.

This year, the Special Mentor is Studio Azzurro, the long-established visual studio specialized in innovative languages. Through creating video-environments, sensitive and interactive environments, museum routes, theatre performances and films, over the years they have built up an artistic path that is transversal to the traditional disciplines, forming a work group open to different contributions and important collaborations. It will be this versatile studio that takes part in the selection jury of the competition.
The Nastro Azzurro Video Talent Award's Call closed in July, but the 10 finalits are going to be revealed soon. These are going to expose their projects, inside DEBUT's days, toghether with meetings about international case history of video innovation.
